Lifestyle describes the living standards of
people and their surroundings. There are four provinces of Pakistan having
different lifestyles. The languages they speak and the clothes they wear are
also different according to their cultures. They consume different types of
foods that distinguished them from each other.
Punjabi Lifestyle:
Punjab is the most important province of
Pakistan. Punj means five and Aab means water. Punjab means the land of five rivers.
Its culture is the oldest and richest in the history of the world. People of
Punjab speak the Punjabi language. The music of Punjab includes Bhangra, which
is famous all over the world. People of Punjab are hardworking and they love to
eat spicy foods. People of Punjab are religious and fashionable too. Punjab is
also famous for crockery.
Sindhi Lifestyle:
Sindhi is a famous language in Sindh and it
is spoken in most parts of the country. Sindhi dress is preferred in Sindh
which is lose Kameez and Shalwar. People of Sindh like low spicy food. Sindhi
handicrafts have a unique and different style. Folklores and Sofi music have
great importance in Sindh. Sindhi Toppi(cap) is the dominant feature of the
people of Sindh.
Balochi Lifestyle:
Balochistan is the largest province of
Pakistan according to geographical boundaries. Its culture is tribal and
conservative. The dry fruits of Baluchistan are famous around the world. Sajji,
roasted lamb sand mutton is loved in Baluchistan. Its culture includes poetry and
literature. Men wear salwar, kameez, and turban while women use frocks. Women
also use jewellery made of metal. The leather of Baluchistan is famous around
the world.
Khyber- Pakhton- Kha lifestyle:
Its former name was North Western Front-line
of Pakistan. British administration named it; this was the last frontier of the
British Empire. If you have visited KPK than close your eyes and imagine heaven
on earth. Its people are very loving, caring, brave and famous in hospitality.
The main language is Pushto. Pakhtoon Society has always given respect and
protection to their females.
